What happened to the nappy liners that you put in cloth nappies - I can't seem to find them in any supermarkets anymore?
I think they were Johnson's ones, they looked like blue chux cloth things. Are they not produced anymore, or something? What a pain... how do I avoid cleaning pooey cloth nappies now  ------------- Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years). |

j&j discontinued them but when i was in coutdown the other day a saw that homebrand have just released some

| Apparently they weren't selling enough. When they took Johnsons liners off the market, I switched to washable liners (microfleece) as all the flushable liners gave my girl a nasty rash. |

yea i had a big tantrum. now i have some i got off trade me and they are absolute sh*t. the brand is poplini or something. ill be looking for homebrand for sure if theey have them now. ill try find the thread and bump it for you as lots of ppl gave me suggestions on other ones i could use -------------

sorry to thread jack but i brought a few bits of microfleece off trade me a while back thinking i would use them as inserts for my MCN's that i had just brought until i reaslised that microfibre and microfleece are not the same thing.
can i use the microfleece as liners for the nappies? and would i just use one layer that is cut about the same size as the inserts? -------------  http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker">

DH picked up the homebrand ones yesterday and we're using them in the nappies today. They seem like a fairly good alternative but they don't appear to be as breathable.
We used the blue liners as bum cleaning cloths so we've had to buy chux and cut them up for that. But the new homebrand ones seem fairly similar to the lace liners that snazzipants sell. Sadly they aren't flushable though. -------------

Homebrand liners... they would be at Countdown I guess?
Does anyone know where I could get flushable liners? As for using cloth liners, the reason I use liners is that I can't stand the thought of cleaning the poo off fabric  so that wouldn't be a quick fix for me, I'm afraid  ------------- Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years). |

LB, I've used real nappies ones from BF and i HATE them. They make Dan's bum go bright red within a few hours.
I'm going to trial some Imse Vimse ones from Scarecrow farm - they're the same price but meant to be better for sensitive bums. ------------- Mum to two wee boys |

Snazzipants sell rolls of flushable liners. It's about $12 for a roll of 100 so not cheap. But they would send it to you.
Flissty that's interesting as we've had issues with cloth liners causing nappy rash in the past. Going to go check those ones out now. ETA: After seeing the cost of the Scarecrow Farm ones I wouldn't get the ones from Snazzipants. -------------
