I have some baby's first ones from last time and the feel really hard, like no bend to them so you'd see the outlines of them through a top and they were quite uncomfy.

I know there are 100's out there. But I want to know your recomendations.

Something soft and absorbant, quite like a bamboo insert really.

I just got some ecomoon ones- they were hemp and were on special 5 pairs for $10.50 (on trade me). she also did bamboo ones.

Obviously haven't used them yet, but they do feel so nice and soft.

I have some ecomoon bamboo ones. I'm not leaky much so can't comment on absorbency but they are really comfy and soft. While they're flat I can't see the outline through my clothes. Can see them through tight singlets though.

I've got the baby first ones as well as some bamboo ones (little pea pods or something like that, got them from baby factory)
I prefer the bamboo ones as they are softer but they are also a bit larger and show through my clothes more - so it really depends on what I'm wearing. I'm quite a leaky person and I've had no problems with either sort in that department.

I got mine from Breastmates, the are they hemp ones I think. They have soft fluffy side for next to your boob. This time I am leaking heaps and they still do the job.

They wash well and dry fast too.

Cool thanks ladies.

Littlestar, thanks forgot about the pea pod ones. I used those nappies, (didn't like them much) but the bamboo inserts were really good, I asume that that's what they've made the breast pads in aswell. Will go check them out.

Wait and see how much milk you have before buying too many. I had heaps of milk and would soak through every hour or so and they ended up smelly and leaking heaps. I went to disposable ones in the day (partly cos you couldn't see them under tops) and had 6 washables in each bra cup at night (OMG, I so don't want to go back there in a hurry).

Gah Fliss thanks for reminding me! (Flannels in the bra cups worked overnight too ) I really liked the ones Stacey made but she's just sold the last of them! Also got some free Ecomoon ones which seem lovely so looking forward to seeing how they go (that said I have all the bits here to make some, so maybe that's what I should be doing!).

Flannels at night are the only thing that keep me getting too drenched! I find that pads move too much for me and they end up in the wrong place.
I use ones like the eco moon ones during the day and they are great, really absorbant. I leaked so much the other day that my pad was soaked when I squeezed it milk dripped out but I was dry.
