Hi Everyone, long time since I last posted. But we are possibly moving from out West to the North Shore and currently DD is in a fantastic daycare for half a day Mon-fri. The one thing about moving that I am worried about is finding a nice daycare for her on the shore - as where she is now is brilliant.

The daycare situation is actually going to stop us moving if I cant find somewhere nice, so I need some advice.

I dont know anyone who uses a daycare on the shore - but does anyone out there have any recommendations, or even 'avoid this place'.

Thanks h

Do you know where you might live on the shore?

These are the ones I know/heard about that are good:

Kindercare at Milford and Bayswater are both awesome. As is ABC Glenfield. These ones have separate rooms for ages.

Caterpillars to Butterflys has a good name but DS is 2 and he couldn't get in until he's 4yrs!   Has an under 2 room and then 2+ room.

4 Kids and Whanau are really good too - I have friends there. Has under 2yrs room then 2+ room.

Hope that helps. It can be hard finding a daycare!!
