I'm getting married in just over 3 weeks. My MIL asked me the other day if I wanted to get a spray tan (her shout, yay). But, I'm concerned that the smell will put Cooper off BF and that the chemicals would be harmful to him anyway.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks

Ring a spray tan place and ask them is probably best. If they don't know then ring around till you find a place that does. From memory its not that smelly at all. You can always ask them to avoid your boobies or nipple region when they spray.

I had one done while BF. I can't remember it smelling, and it definately didn't put DS off feeding!

Get some of the disposable breast pads and stick them to yourself rather than your bra. This stops it getting anywhere near your nipples!

Hope the big day goes well!

I'm breastfeeding my 2 month old boy and had a spraytan done the other day, didn't seem to bother him in the slightest. I wore a paper boob tube thing that covered my nipples and it seemed to work well except my tan lines are a bit interesting but generally not many people see that part of me anyway! The tan did smell a bit funny, reminded me of Johnsons Holiday Skin lotion if you know what that smells like but after a few hours I didn't notice it.

All the best for big day :)

Great, thanks for the help ladies. I actually found something on the kellymom.com site that said the same things as you have all suggested.

Yay, I'll be able to be brown for the big day
