feel a bit silly asking this...  but what are baby bands?

I think they are to help cover up the belly once your bump starts growing and your current tops start lifting at the front. That was my assumption anyway, but I could be wrong!! ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

baby bands are mini sunglasses for babies... Belly bands are like a wide stretchy cotton/elastane belt that help bridge the gap between your tops and pants/skirts if you dont want any skin showing, they also work as an added support after you've had baby to hold the leftover bump in... oh and if you wear your normal pants and they get a bit tight, you can undo button/zip and cover it with the belly band so noone knows your pants are undone  ------------- Brandon - 05/12/2003

| there are also belly support bands for hip and back pain that you can get for $40 from EGG and EGG retailers. one size fits most... its just velcro and it supports the extra weight from your growing bump. i got one in my 2nd triemster coz i had really bad hip pain and it works wonders. |
