Hi ladies,
Roland here. Just a quick note to let you all know that Erin Alexandra Bird made her grand entrance at 3.13am on 13/7/2006, after 13 hours of labour. She weighed in at 7lbs 11oz. Jacquie got her water birth at Northshore Hospital. And as promised by Jax, here are a few photos:

just a strange observation, there are a lot of 13's and 3's in her birth date and time plus hours of labour, good thing it wasnt Friday! (sorry I just notice these things, completely random comment I know)

Oh Jax she is so gorgeous!!! And it sounds like everything went really well for you. LOL when the photos popped up Blaire started cooing & smiling on my lap. I don't think he can actually see anything but the timing was perfect it was like he was saying "Hey hot stuff!" Hehehehe!

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note from Erin's mummy to say thanks for all your well wishes. The big story will come a bit later when I feel like less of a zombie LOL In a nutshell the labour and birth was great, didn't end up at birthcare but still had water birth - and was in hospital for a little while longer than expected because i lost a lot of blood after. Had just a little bit of gas, and then a handful of stitches after, but all is well now though, and we have just come home today, a big relief ! great to hear you are doing good. its a biug change in ya life aye?! sorry you lost a lot of blood, i had a post partum heamorrhage with my first daughter and it was horrible, got pretty weak and added to tiredness. all the best jax
