How do I start?
I think Kylah is ready, it was more me that wasnt. Do i go cold turkey? How did you do it? Do i just buy her some knickers? Im going to have to get boys ones, because she LOVES lightening mcqueen, and they dont make girls cars knickers lol. ------------- ~ Mummy to a beautiful girl ~ |

How do you think she is ready? Is she showing the classic signs??? Ask her if she wants to wear them if she does take her to the toilet almost every hour and get her to sit on it too. For my both my boys they asked for them, I gave them and w haven't looked back. Josh's night training was an accident that worked we just forgot to change him into a nappy at night and he has only had 1 accident since that happened over a month ago. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

What are the classic signs?
She tells us when her nappy is wet, and sometimes when she has done number 2s. She loves sitting on the toilet but she never does anything. ------------- ~ Mummy to a beautiful girl ~ |

| Maybe just start with knickers at home and see how she goes. Jack didn't get the hang of it until we tried, and he started feeling it running down his leg. He only has 1 accident a day now, which isn't bad for being at DC (although won't do #2 on the toilet much). He also only goes once a night now too so we just leave him in a pullup. |

For awhile Kahtrell would go to the toilet every now and then. Then when I thought he was fully ready, I had him in undies and just kept asking if he needed to go toilet. The first couple of days their were a few accidents...but after that he was fine. It was a lot easier than I had thought it would be, probably cos I just let him dictate when he was ready and how we went about the whole TT business. -------------
