Right, so I am ready to lanolise my knitted soakers & longies in anticipation of bubs arrival. I have some questions...Am I better off getting liquid lanolin, lanolin spray, liquid wool wash (with lanolin in it) or the wool wash bar? I am looking at the Suds n Duds range from Mothersinstinct (http://www.mothersinstinct.co.nz/categories/Accessories/) but don't know which product is best.
Thanks

Go the Sudz 'n Dudz spray - soooo easy, much less messy, and lasts for ages between lanolising. Smells yummy too (I've got the sweet orange one). I've only tried that and the lanolin soap bar.

Thanks Weegee. What do you use to wash them? And how do often do you use the spray?

Just use the ecostore wool wash in the washing machine, and respray with the lanolin after they're dry, prob about every second wash (don't wash them very often cos we only use them at night and JJ doesn't poo at night so they only ever get a bit damp). The lanolin soap I have is from http://www.organicislandbaby.co.nz/shop/organic-nappies.aspx - Organic Island Baby and that is lovely too but I do find throwing my woollens in the washing machine and giving them a quick spray much easier than handwashing

i have only ever used eucalan wool wash to wash with and lanolise mine. they only really need to be wased if they get soiled...otherwise an airing will do!
