Does anyone use anything like this? Do they actually work - especially on nappies?

Thanks!

i have used the code wash balls. i dont use them regularly and there wasnt anythimg about them that i didnt like but i just couldnt get my head around using them. i do use them for my towels tho.

if you want an alternative for your nappies you could try soap nuts. they are fab and all i use for my nappies now.

Thanks Bizzy, I have some soap nuts here, but haven't got around to using them yet. Do they work as well as the conventional detergent? Do you think they work out cheaper?

With the code wash balls, can you use them with powder, and maybe use just a little powder? (I too have trouble getting my head around them LOL)

its a berry like nut that you put in a bag with your washing and it does the work instead of using powder or liquid stuff. I have found that it doesnt work on really dirty stuff, but stuff that is midly clean comes up well- You just have to get your head around them

sometimes i chuck the balls in and the last remnants of washing powder all together...    i think they work out a bit cheaper. a bag of soapnuts seem to last a while, especially when you get four washes, and even my husband likes using the soap nuts.
