I get this also, its awful, especially when it comes and goes. I have just bought sea bands (for motion sickness) so will see if they work first

Acupuncture ;)
But unfortunately it is mostly normal - get as much rest and fluids now as you can, especially since it is your first.
You might want to consider an iron supplement though, one that is easy for your body to absorb like Spatone or Floradix.

Ive had 2 almost fainting spells (would have fainted if I hadnt lay down), the first about 6 weeks ago.
My BP is on the lower side (nothing too low though) so figured it was prob this. MW hasnt been worried, just said to keep a note of when it happens and will investigate if it gets too frequent. Whats your BP like?
Also make sure your blood sugar isnt getting too low (although witht he small frequent snacks I wouldnt think it would be a problem)
Not sure what else it might be... Maybe your body telling you to slow down a little and take it a bit easier?

thanks hippimama & emmi,
my BP was normal last week when the MW checked it, I'm just waiting for GP to get back to me, I had my Iron & B12 levels checked last week.
i feel like i couldn't take it any easier if i tried! i only work part time as it is, 30-30 p/week and haven't been doing anything else, feel sorry for DH, haven't been keeping up with my share of the housework
