They look cool. Was just reading more and it says even though they say 18kg limit, that you can actually use it for as long as you would like to carry your baby/child with it and that it's been weight tested up to 90lb which is around 40kg. So it can obviously be used for a long time. lol.

It also says this:

"Some people have carried their aging, infirm parent and believe it or not some people carry their dogs in The ERGO."

Hahahaha.

Love mine, wouldn't be without it and my 2.5 year old DS2 will still happily go in it.

I wouldn't think at 5 months you'd need an infant insert, but if you are planning any more it might be an investment. DS2 was 9 months old when we got ours and obviously didn't need one. hehehehehe I think it is meant for babies who are tiny and can't hold their heads up i.e. newborns.

I can wear it for HOURS, even now that he's about 13ish kg.

Yeah I wouldn't think you'll need the infant insert now. And if you're keeping your Poppit wrap you probably wouldn't use the Ergo so much with a NB if there's a next time IMO.

Isn't the hearttoheart thing the same as the infant insert???

I our Ergo!!!!
