Help!! We've had an accident with our steraliser and it's ruined.. we need to steralise our tommee tippee bottles, teats etc. asap
I know you can boil for 5 mins to become steralised but can you boil these plastic bottles?? Sounds like a stupid question but I don't want them to melt.. if I wreck these too then we're really stuffed! I'll go and buy another steraliser tomorrow but for now we just need to get these done. Hi,
I'd probably boil up the water and put into a clean tupperware container and put the bottles into this. Do you have any Milton tablets? Most supermarkets have them if you can get to one and its quite easy to boil up water (for memory you use cooled boiled water) add milton tablet and leave soaking. |

Yes you can boil up plastic bottles & teats in a pot. I did this when we were travelling overseas and I didn't want to take my steriliser. yep, boiling the bottles is fine - I did it for about 3 weeks until my Mum took pity on me and bought us a microwave sterilizer (thank goodness!!) -------------
