Hi everyone,Just a quick question. How can you tell when your little one is ready for solids?I should know this him being my 3rd but he feels like my 1st all over again lol. After he has a bottle(150 mls) he is still hungry, chewing fist and smacking his lips but he wont take anymore milk I know they arent supposed to have any solids til they are 4mths but both my girls were on them at 10 weeks. He really seems to be hungry.Any advice?I dont want to put him on solids if he doesnt need them as I would love to have my "baby" for a bit longer Lol.Thanks in advance

How old is your son? Well the tell tell signs are holding head up well and taking in the spoon and not sliding it out of his mouth....try giving him something on a spoon and see what happens.

Chewing fist could also be a sign of teeth coming out and he could be grumpy because of that.....but then again how old is he???

But did he open his mouth to take the spoon in? if yes then I dont see how it could hurt giving some thing like fruit at first...he is only 1 month away from (recommended) solid eating age so just go with your instinct (sp??).....

You could up his formula or put him on one for hungry babies? Sorry have no experience with formula as I breastfed but I've heard of women on here talking about this type of formula before. As you started your other 2 early he will probably do fine.. I'd personally wait until at least four months but it's up to you
