I like the original spelling, its a place after all so I think the original spelling makes more sense. Anything different will most likely get miss spelt.

Ha ha - we must have very similar taste. My 22mth old daughter's name is Taylor Renee! - oops because I tried to delete this post because someone who knows me is on this board and might let the cat out of the bag about what names I'm considering. I want it to be a big secret. Can't figure out how to delete it now that people have replied.

I still like Sean and Shaughnessy - but they're just not quite right. Still trying to find the name that feels exactly right. We didn't have this problem when trying to find a name for our daughter Taylor. We named her as soon as we found out she was a girl at the 20wk scan and that was that!

Taylor and Devon are quite cute , I dunno, I think they go better than Sean (hey , you changed the spelling ) because, Taylor and Devon have been heard of as unisex names, its not totally unheard of for a girl to have either name , whereas Sean is still quite rare .
What about Jordyn ?

My cousins are Devon (girl) and Courtenay (boy). I like their names but they are forever getting confused by acquaintances as people can't get their head around a girl having a typically masculine name and her brother having a typically feminine one.

Ha haha. Well, Malcolm keeps hmmming and haaaing about all the names I've come up with - Sean and Devon included... so there's no telling what we will end up choosing. I have another option up my sleeve though. Add to that the fact we don't even know if it's a girl. I haven't even started thinking about boys names!!!!! I'm sure with our family and all the girls in it that it will be another girl LOL.
But yeh - would really appreciate it if you don't discuss with my sis-inlaw as it's really important to us that our baby's name is a surprise for the family. Thanks for that.
