Hi all,

Hubby and I  have been trying for our second child for 2 1/2 yrs now with no luck.

Off to see a specialist on in April.

In the meantime I am having horrible pain in my right side lower abdomen area which is worse with my period (this month). I thought it may be appendix but doesnt come to anything just stays the same. It radiates down the leg sometimes and up higher. Feel tired and sick.

ANyone had this and could know what it might be? Maybe it has something to do with the reason we cant conceive for the second time?

Had emergency c sec with first so maybe that has something to do with it. I just want some answers. Got a few weeks to wait and cant find anything when I google.

Thought maybe someone else has these symptoms??

Good luck to everyone.

PS:

Had scans and shows no cysts or fibroids or any abnormalities. SO quite confused.
The pain is quite intense and burning at times.

i have had similar and was so worried i got doctor to check it out...he said it wasnt a hernia but had thought it was initially...apparently i have a muscle from after the birth (c section) that has extended and is causing the pain at AF time too....he Rx synflex for muscle relief....

reading your post sounded exactly like mine...ask your doctor to rule out an actual hernia...and if u have had c section then highly possible you have same muscle issue??? weird I know as only time i get it is af time or with very full bowel!

Hey Kellverona ... I didn't want to read and run ... I have endo and I get pain that radiates down the top of my (right, usually) leg - it's a weird kind of pain that I probably could only describe as being like when the feeling starts to come back after wicked pins and needles. I never made the connection between the two until my specialist asked if I got pain in my legs. Have you looked into endo? Just an idea anyway!

well we are 2ndry unexplained infetility so it may do but noone so far has linked the two issues so I doubt it.....I dont have endo

I def think a scan should provide you with more answers tho.

My thinking is the same as Ginger's... I would suspect endo with the pain radiating down your legs.

Hopefully the specialist will get on to a diagnosis for you asap - the not knowing sucks!

Good luck

The other thing with endo is it doesn't show up on a scan. The call to look into it via surgery is made based on symptoms. The other tricky thing is that, as my specialist said to me - the problem with endo girls is that symptoms don't indicate the severity of the endo. You can have wicked endo with no symptoms, or b*gger all with dreadful symptoms, or a few symptoms or whatever.
