Advice please:
I'm thinking of using Michel Sangalli in Wgtn as my obstetrician.
Anyone use him and have any feedback?
But unlike some other obstetricians, he doesn't have a midwife during labour/birth there . Any pros/cons to this?

I've had no experience with him during labour or anything at that end but I did see him when I was referred to wellington after a scan showed abnormalities and he was great to me and my hubby and was the best person that we saw throughout that whole experience. He was straight up to us in a really nice way.

Hi Karen
I can't comment on your OB personally but in regards to him not using a midwife, perhaps he just uses the hospital midwifes? Maybe just ask when you next speak to him or see him.
I am on the OB/midwife search myself at the moment and it seems that the OB clinics I have spoken to do use a midwife or a team of midwives.

Many of the OBs (if not all) use the hospital MWs during the birth.
