Hi there, i have a Moby that i used for DD2 over winter when she was born, it was quite warm in there for her then and i found it great to carry her in. Im having No.3 in October and im wondering whether its going to be too hot to have this baby in a wrap style carrier, especially through the peak of summer. And im wondering whether a Manduca or something similar would be cooler (for me and bub).
Any ideas/advice would be appreciated

hiya
I don't have any advice about a manduca, but ds was born 7 Jan this year I used the Moby. I just wrapped it so it covered my top half completely and have nothing on underneath.

I used my moby with DD over summer, she was born 2 Nov, often I'd just have a light singlet on and her just in a nappy. Some days it was a bit warm but not too hot. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

| Oh thats good, cause i found the Moby great last time, i mainly wear singlets in summer anyway so thats a good idea! i guess i could even get away with wearing a bikini top under too... |

I'd still use the Moby in summer, but then switch to a Manduca for when baby is bigger - which is what I use now if I'm not using a mei tai. ------------- Mama to two earth walkers & two angels. I find my Moby great - but I do find it gets too hot even now! Maybe me and baby are both just sweaty beings ;-)
