soooo do it - our carseat wasn't put in until the day we were leaving birthcare! DH was late picking us up cos it was "kinda hard to figure out", and he had to put the anchor bolt in first. Don't leave things until the last minute like us!!!

Yeah do it!! We stupidly didnt check our capsule fit and it did but just which we didnt discover until we were on our way home with bubs!

Its so much fun to get everything set up, and you may as well do it now while you are still feeling good.

No ! not silly at all ! the last few weeks the only thing you really have to look forward to is the baby being born , the kicks have become old news , and there isn't really much else to look forward to , so the fun thing to do is to set up as much as you can !
By 35 weeks I had all his clothes washed and in the drawers hehe

Haha ok im gonna do it today Im not too sure weather to have his bassinet in our room or in his own room with a baby monitor in ours. Any advice on what you found easier, having them in their own room or yours ? His room is a little colder compared to ours, but im not too sure weather to have him in ours or not ?

We started off with Esme in our room, but moved her into her own at about 2 weeks because she is a noisy sleeper. It was definitely easier having her in our room to start with and when we have been away I have slept in the same room as her and night feeds go so much quicker! But we sleep better with her in a different room.

I have Cooper in our room and TBH I'm not looking forward to the day I have to move him to  his own room. For me its soothing knowing he's right next to me and I can hear him breathing. Also getting up in the middle of the night is no big drama. Cooper does snore and is rather noisy in his sleep, but so is DH so I've become accustomed to noise

But, everyone is different on this. You may start with them in your room and move them out the next day, you'll only know when you bvring your little one home what will work for you

Daniel was in his room from day 1, babies are noisey creatures and his room was right next door so it wasnt far to go

Ok, yeah i guess i wont know untill then The only thing is we have a cat who i think would hop into the bassinet, and wouldnt want to risk that with bubs in there, so would have to close our door when bubs is asleep, same as if he was in his own room, so makes it abit annoying lol

we co sleep and have his bassinet in the lounge room for daytime naps....

a good way to keep the cat cat out is line it with crumpled tin foil. keep it in there til you have bubs. he should learn after the first jump or 2...

Def do it! Not fun stressing about things when bub decides to surprise you by arriving a week later - I was doing washing, cleaning the bathroom and packing hospital bag while in labour at 37 weeks!
