ok so (sorry if i have spelt it wrong) I have been thinking of getting this done, actually I have been to dr and got myself on waiting list.

My question is has anyone done this ? I'm not really sure what to expect, afterwards etc. does it stuff with your hormones bla bla ???

any advice would be great :))

I have 3 wonderful kiddies and am at the stage now where I really don't want anymore and I don't want to be on contraceptive pills for the next 15 -20 years

I think they do keyhole surgery through your belly button to do it, as thats how they did my mums.
So i imagine the recovery wouldnt be too bad!

They usually key hole it. Recovery from that is sweet, I was back to normal activity in a few weeks.

As you are just having the tubes tied you won't have hormone issues as you aren't having anything removed.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
