I was getting DS changed after swimming today and managed to get his baby cheeks nappy caught on a sharp part on the change table It's put a hole about the size of a pea or slightly bigger right the way through the outer fabric. Can this be repaired and still be waterproof or should I just biff it out?

You could try to repair it, but it really depends on where the rip is? Ie, if it's close to the pocket opening where you can get a sewing machine in to patch it up, then it may be doable.

If you do want to, it would be best to use a sewing machine and cut out a patch, use polyester thread as cotton would wick.. then put it through the dryer on hot to help seal any puncture holes.
