Random question of the day.

If your child was born with little hair and it fell out did they teeth quickly? As in young and quite a few etc

If your child was born with heaps of hair and it grew quickly did they teeth more slowly?

The reason I'm asking is because I was at a friends 1st birthday in Feb  and he had heaps of hair and teethed slowly where as the little girl that was 10days older had 8teeth by the time she was one and had little hair. I also remember someone mentioning at the time it was a saying or something along those lines.

Just interested to see if its a regular occurence or not.

Rowan was born with peach fuzz and didn't get any real hair until she was around 6 months. She cut her first tooth at 11.5 months. It sounds like an old wives tale to me.

Hannah was born with a decent amount of black hair. It lightened up and thinned out to nothing by 7 months.
it wasn't until she was 12 months old that she got any more hair.
First teeth (2) at 11 months... she's almost 26 months and has 12 teeth.

Sounds like an OWT to me, too

Both girls were born with heads of black hair (which fell out and is growing back brown) and both got their first teeth just before 7 months old - Amber has 2 and Jade has 1.

Jack was pretty much bald from the beginning and didn't have enough hair to cut until he was about 2.5yrs! He started teething at 5mths and had all 20 teeth not long before his 2nd birthday

Ben was born with more hair but it lightened up and fell out. He started teething at 6.5mths and has 7 teeth at 8.5mths.

So for us the OWT is true

Henry had lots and lots of hair at birth and never lost any of it. He had four teeth by the time he was 5months - two top and two bottom. He has a mouth full off teeth now (except his back molars) as far as im aware - he wont let me look in his mouth

Rory was born with lots of dark hair, the dark hair fell out and slowly but was growing back at the same time IYGWIM lol it came back heaps lighter and is super thick. He has just turned 15months and has had 4 hair cuts already.
He cut his 1st tooth at 4.5months and had 4 by 6 months and 8 by 1 year and has just cut all 4 of his 1st molars.

Sounds like an OWT to me aswell

Callum had lots of blond hair at birth which never really fell out, just didn't get up with his head growth His teeth came through pretty quickly, two at a time, from 6ish months old. He's 15 months now and has 16 teeth.

My friend's boy had masses of black hair at birth which didn't fall out - but his BLOND mop grew in under it so he looked a bit freaky for a while (cute freaky!) He got his teeth quickly too, faster than Callum I think and has such beautiful thick hair that people are always asking his Mum if he's a girl

Lydia had lots of long, dark hair when she was born, which fell out and is growing back strawberry blonde. She got her first tooth just before 5 months, and now has 10, and 3 more moving around just under the gum.

Sam had very little hair when he was born, and cut his first two teeth at 3 months old!

Jamie had a little bit more hair than Sam and is 3 months old now with no signs of any teeth coming.

Sam's hair never fell out either, but started really growing just after he was 1.

Very little hair (still) over here, but 8 front teeth by 9 months old.

The teething has slowed down a bit now though - she has four molars almost through, but they are taking a long time!
