Hi i am thinking of going to the Bubs on board movie tomorrow at Manukau. Is anyone else going to be going?

I have only been to ones out West, they are quite good ,cheaper but you need to expect noise and kids running around cause people take their toddlers too. I am not brave enough to take dd now shes older

I went to the Manukau one when DD was only about 3weeks old. We were the only one with a kid there and because my milk still hadn't settled I sprayed her in the face  and thats when she cried other wise she was great  ------------- http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker">

I went when Jae was a couple of months old and she slept through most of it (and since I was the only person in the whole cinema, they let me take the pram in and park her in the wheelchair bay) Took her again a couple of weeks ago and it was great, she watched half of it with me, and slept through the second half (granted, shes a speedway baby so is used to loud noises!) The only time she got the slightest bit grumpy was when she needed a bottle and sleep, but once I'd sorted the bottle bit, the sleep came straight after.
Both times were at the Manukau one and I cant fault them either time 
As someone else said, I wouldnt take her once shes older and more mobile as I'd be too busy trying to get her to sit down with me, rather than enjoy the movie... but for now, while baby is still little, I definitely recommend going. Hope you enjoyed it today ------------- Brandon - 05/12/2003

they also do it at sylvia park and pakuranga - look up which movies are on....all do thedim lights and stollers allowed things....
pakuranga gets some old ladies sometimes...cause it is cheaper...but as its mum n bubs sessions they seem to put up with kids crying etc .... |

About 1/4 of the cinema today didn't have children with them, must've been taking advantage of the cheap session, although I would have paid the extra $2 and gone on Tuesday if I were them, was a bit distracting all those toddlers running around. A good choice for us though, Caleb alternated between watching the movie, eating his snacks and jumping from seat to seat. Good movie watching weather, and nice to have a wander around the shops while it was raining outside. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
