Hi there, I am a CBE - well nearly, I will hopefully start teaching in July/August this year but I need to attend a homebirth as part of my course requirements.
I have 2 children of my own, and have attended 2 other births as part of my course. One was a natural water birth at Botany and the other an emergency c section at Middlemore. I am discrete, understanding and supportive and will rub backs, fetch food etc to help out.
I am based in AKL and ideally, anything more Sth would be good, but I am flexible.
If anyone is planning a homebirth and would like some extra support from someone in the field so to speak, please let me know!!

just to add to this, and to bump a little I will be as discrete or hands on as you need me to be. Sometimes having someone there to help with massage etc is great!
I will meet you as many times as you want prior to the birth - with or without your midwife so you can get to know me.
With the other births I was a support person at, I went along to their antenatal appointments with them and got to know them and their m/w.
I am still in touch with both families, and both gorgeous children I was so lucky enough see come into the world.
