Anyone got a good recipe?

I see cabbages are cheap lately, and we don't often eat cabbage, I could see it being a good meal to make a huge pot of and then freeze portions....

Yup, this is from the destitute gormet book- I love this recipe

Splash of oil
350gm meat thinly sliced or cubed
1 onion
4-5 cups of veges (brocolli, carrot, mushrooms, celery, beans, cabbage- whatever you have really)
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice mix
3/4 cup stock (andy kind)
1 tsp sugar
3 tbsp cornflour
5 tbsp soy sauce

Chop all the veges up to a roughly uniform size. I use a wok to cook in.

Heat oil, cook meat then remove and keep warm. Add onions and cook until soft, add the rest of the veges, grated ginger, chinese 5 spices mix. Return meat to the pan and add the stock.

Make a mixture from the sugar, cornflour and soy sauce, and add it when the veges only need a few more minutes. It will go thickish. Serve with rice or noodles of your choice.

Any questions ask- but its pretty self explanitory
