I got a jar of cherries in brandy at xmas...YUMM!!! and they have survived so far so thought I would put them into some home made brownies...should i add the juice as well and should i then remove water from brownie mix recipe instead????

help??? and and all ideas welcome...

Tricky one (but yummy!!).
Is the juice syrupy, or is it just straight brandy?

If it's syrupy it could be worth doing half and half syrup with water.
But if it's straight brandy then my assumption is that the alcohol would burn off during the cooking process, sucking out the liquid.

If it works, I'd love the recipe. I love cherries.

it is liquid and I dont think I can use it all as the jar is quite big....think normal marmite / jam size...

hmmmm.....still trying to work it out so any ideas welcome....

mind you even a brownie fail is usually good!
