I don't have one yet but hired an Ergo a few weeks ago from Belly beyond, it was good to use and easy to walk the dog at the same time (Golden Retriever). I sold my Ergo for a Manduca - the extendable panel is great!
I would definitely use it for long walks and have taken DD2 in it for DD1's kindy drop off (a 2km round trip). ------------- Mama to two earth walkers & two angels. I have found the ergo that I want but it's in America, and while they do international shipping i'm worried that I could get it for cheaper here in NZ.

Belly Beyond have the ergo, I ordered a trial from them and they were great. Otherwise check the slingbabies website, they have a list with all the stockists
