Has anyone noticed that the sizing of bras has changed? I just brought a few (bendon stores have 30-50% off btw) and I've gone up a cup size. It just doesn't make sense to me, I've always been a b, all my other bras still fit but today I've had to buy a c cup. I'm a bit puzzled by it.
I'm stil a 10, but I wondered if maybe I was slightly biger around the back measurement and that might somehow affect the cup size.
I know that this is a stupid question but it is really puzzling me....

Is it the same style of bra? Ive got a few different styles and i range from 12DD to a 14F..........go figure.....but different sizing. Im pretty much a DD or an E while BFing, but if i find one on special thats say a DD and doesnt quite fit then i go up a back size to accomodate the smaller cup size.........sorry i prob just confused you

That sounds like the perfect logic for me! I'm not an A cup, I'm a B and they changed the sizing!

I'm kinda glad I don't have big ones, you ladies who do seem to have awful trouble finding bras.
I guess I'll just be happy that I'm now a C cup instead of a B.

Ooh, I went to Bendon today and bought a gorgeous set but yes, for some reason a 14C didn't fit well around the back so she said the next best thing was a 12D...... She said that the back size is relative to the cup size. I think it's always been like that but I only just realised.

Basic rule of thumb, if you need to go up a cup size, you go down a back size. Down a back size, up a cup size.
Different styles always have different sizing eg. a balconet bra usually has smaller sizing than a full cup bra.
