Right so i'm nearly 34wks (eek!) and my stress levels are thru the roof due to all sorts of various things - monster toddler with a nasty cold, husband that isnt pulling his weight, mental dogs that i'd like to kill etc etc.. I've been getting soreish BH for weeks now, which i've not worried about as it was the same for when I was expecting Thomas, but today.. man. I've had 3-4 good strong contractions with normal BH in the middle. I know it's stress related but should I be letting the MW know or should I just murder everyone and run away (lol). I'd give anything for 5 mins for myself every now and then, but it's just not gonna happen! I dont want to go into hospital for monitoring as theres no-one to watch Thomas and its an aweful long drive for nothing!
while i'm here, has anyone go into prem labour because of too much stress?
TIA

Your DH needs a swift kick up the bum and you need to put your feet up!

Didn't wanna read and run, just thought you needed some hugs!

oh hun, thats not fair - you need to give DH a tune up, but i would suggest rather than going postal on him, sitting him down and saying look dude, this is the story - its that or he spends the next few weeks alone with the toddler while you are at the hospital with a prem

Hang in their hun, but dont pretend to be superwoman - it will make your delivery so much harder from stress and tension

Aw MissA - you should def let your MW know, just so shes aware.

And tell your DH to buck his ideas up lol

Would it be worth getting your MW to instruct your DH to help out more? Maybe he'll listen better if it comes from a professional? ALthough personally I think he should listen to you anyway.

lol.. sometimes its like talking to a brick wall with him. I had a nice calm chat with him last night about how he really needs to be helping me, he just stood there with a blank look on his face and said 'but I am helping.' it was one of those omg moments. It really was lol. he'll get his *shakes her fist*
