I've been meaning to ask - has anyone ever used Totsbots nappies? Or know of anyone who has?

I have 2 of their nappies. A AIO and OSFA fitted and cover. I find the fitted great but it's really bulky so only use it for a night nappy. I like the look of the AIO but I can't get it to fit quite right around DD legs. They always gape no matter how tight I get it around the tummy. She's not a skinny bub so this it unusual. It's the only nappy I have trouble with. If I could get the fit around the legs right I doubt it would leak  ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

I have only tried the totbots AIO, its nice and slim fitting - less bulk than an itti bitti even- i find it doesnt last as long as an itti on my boy tho and cos u stuff the centre and tuck it in its not nice to wash coz u have to pull the wet bit out, they look really nice on tho and i find it great as a day nappy, not my favourite but still good. -------------

My DD is in cotton tots, and the are great day nappies. They require a cover though. I get maybe 3 hours out of one on her.
I also have a couple of Bamboozles for DS and the are awesome! They do take longer than others to dry though. |

I bought one of the AIO's today.. Although now reading this I'm confused, its got what feels like a waterproofish cover on the outside (its orange with white stars on it) and the fluffy inside.. I didn't think it'd need a cover aswell?
Sorry probably a dumb question but reading this it sounds like it needs a cover? I bought it cos I didn't think it did!!! |

the AIO doesnt need a cover, totbots makes a few different kinds of nappies. -------------

We've used bamboozles since DS was about 6mths or so and we've never had any issues, they are great. I got one set, 15 nappies and 5 covers, and I've never ever been tempted to buy any other nappies. They last a good 3 hrs without leaking. The bamboozles do need a waterproof cover but I think in the scheme of things I think they are fairly trim as far as MCN's go.
We are now trialling them as night nappies, we are using a couple of hemp boosters with the bamboozle and have a fleece wrap / water proof wrap but I'm not happy with the the fleece as I dont think it breaths so need to do some more research on that. They didnt leak though, just a slightly irritated botty this morning. -------------

Thanks everyone! I've ended up getting a fitted and cover (FlexiTot) to try myself - at the moment I've only been using it at night as the cover looks like it would leak.. there are gaps around her legs (and my daughter has chubby legs). It's been great at night so far as I also put a Bummis Whisper Pant over the top of the cover.

I have the flexi tots and love love love them!
I tried them when H was tiny and they were brilliant so splashed out for a full set (15 naps and 3 covers) to have once he got to about 8kgs, and they have been great. The covers don't fit snugly around the legs but they don't seem to leak, at night I generally add a booster or a prefold though. The other thing I tried is the kushies cover over the nap which worked well - the cover was roomier and was gathered round the legs so was a pretty snug fit.
