I have purchased a few small pea pod nappies from Baby Factory. Anyone no whether these are any good?? I hear mixed reviews.
Also i am wanting to do overnaps and cloth pads? Can anyone give me good advice on the best brands and where to get them.
Any comments on the best nappy system to use with a newborn??

i used real nappies for about 6-7 weeks with my little man then he outgrew the NB size! they were good, im now mainly using itti bittis which i love but i wouldnt buy the nb size myself coz of how quickly my boy grew, hes already in the large!

i found the peapods too big for my newborn.. i got the smalls (cant remember if they do a newborn size). i never had any problems with them at all once she fitted them.
i also did real nappies prefolds and covers (as well as flats). And now that real nappies are in supermarkets they are even easier to get.

I bought some size small peapods for my SIL and she said they didn't fit until around the 3 month mark on her son. There wasn't a small size then (last year). She had no problems with leaks, and is planning on using them for no 2, but as others have said in various threads - fit depends on the size/shape of bubs and how skinny their legs are etc to get a good seal.

I used Bummis NB covers with ecobots prefolds, they fit him for 2 weeks !!
The ecobot covers have a leg gusset to contain poo explosions.

I did real nappies for the first few weeks too with disposibles. Pretty much used cloth until I ran out (only had about 6 in NB size) and then in disposibles until the cloth was washed and dried. which didn't take long. Next baby I'll get some more so that we can be in them pretty much full time. I think she was in them for about 5-6weeks she was sitting on the 50th percentile for height and weight.
