Im not sure why my 11 week old DS has starting leaking in his MCNs? We have never had any problems before now, but after every nap he seems to have sprung a leak! Maybe I should be using boosters?

Is the nappy completely wet? Or half dry? If completely wet - try adding boosters.

Otherwise check the fit and make sure they are no gaps around the legs.

What sorts of MCN are you using? I've got itti's, fuzzi's and prefolds and I had to use boosters with Kiara from about 6 weeks in all of them. Mind you she's a monumental wetter.

And good point about looking at the fit.

Im using ittis, ecobubs and honey childs.

They do seem alot fuller/wetter than normal and now that he is sleeping longer maybe I do just need boosters. I dont think fit is in issue - we havent changed sizes recently and they seem pretty snug.

so yeah try adding boosters first and see if that fixes the problem.

How much stuffing does everyone use in their naps?

I have a double layer microfibre that gets folded in half so 4 layers as well as the same thickness in bamboo/hemp. I also have some trifolds which=6 layers.

I still get leaks out of my homemade nappies and seems to come out the legs..,am I just stuck with this til he gets chubbier legs or is there a trick..have thought about adding something more at the front. I do check positioning of his bits but it often happens when feeding!!! Maybe I should change his feeding position so he is not on his side!!!

I am using the normal inserts and have been folding a booster and putting that at the front and we havent had anymore leaks
