Hi there,

I'll be venturing out to the city for the first time with bubs next week

Just wondering where the best parent rooms are in Auckland CBD and Newmarket. I'm guessing Smith & Caughy's might be a safe bet for the CBD ?

I'm not keen on any of the Westfields if the ladies loos are anything to go by

Definitely check out the Westfield ones, I was so surprised when I first went into them. But that probably doesn't help with central auckland.

Just thinking about the CBD I can't really think where there would be parents rooms apart from Westfield and possibly S&C's. But then I generally only use them for changing Ben if they are handy, otherwise I change them descreetling in the pushchair or in a corner somewhere. I tend to get my boobs out anywhere!
Have fun

S&C is definitely the place to go in the CBD and possibly also in Newmarket but I would also think the parent rooms in 277 should be nice as well.

S&C has the only parents rooms I know of in the CBD - it's a small room with just a chair and a change table but the door is lockable. On the same level as the womens clothes and lingerie, you need to take the lift up if you have a pushchair.

It would be worth ringing the central library to see if they have facilities there

277 parent rooms are awful. Very basic & they smelled. I was horrified when there at Christmas time.

Just to say that we made it into town today

Can confirm that S&C's is really good. Just the one room though, but has everything you need, plus the disabled toilet is right next to it, so handy if mum needs a pee too
