Hmmm Kobe has this thing about elephants at the moment and has two elephant toys he loves playing with and has just started sort of roll playing with them and one is always mummy and the other kobe and they give cuddles and kisses and talk to each other which is really cute but now there is an ad on tv, I cant remember what its for but there is a cartoon type female elephant on it and Kobe has decided its 'mummy' hubby thinks this is sooo funny as does everyone else who is around when the ad comes on and kobe starts pointing out to mummy on telly. Im hoping its because of his toys and not because he thinks I look like an elephant!

Willie calls me Mummy-phant and Mummy-potomus and when we took Maya to the zoo a few months ago with some friends Maya announced very loudly at the hippo enclosure "My daddy says my Mummy is a hippopotamus!"

*tries hard not to giggle*

I think the ad you mean is the Air Wick one ... where the cartoon elephant is married to a centipede, who keeps leaving his smelly shoes around the house !

LOL Cute story though, kind of - hate to think of the interesting nicknames Erin might come up with when she is old enough

ha ha I had to laugh, in the supermarket last night this little girl who couldnt have been more than 3 or so was sitting in a trolley and I was standign behind her and her mum in the que, and the little girl points out her arm and says at the top of her voice "look mummy - that lady has a baby in her tummy!"and mum looked around a little embarrassed and said "˙es yes" pretty quietly trying to shut her up I think - but the little girl wasnt deterred at all, she pointed again and at the top of her voice says "a big baby mummy, she has a BIIIIGGG baby in her tummy" and her mum was really embarrassed and tryign to distract her and all the people in the que were having a giggle...

If anyone else had refered to my "big baby" I think I would have taken offence but this little girl was so innocent in her comments... the poor mum though was going redder by the minute...
