I've woken up with what seems to be a bladder infection this morning .
Since it's a sunday the docs aren't open of course, anyone got some good ideas on how to feel more comfortable???
I've got those ural things but they arent tasting too great and don't seem to be working

Go to the chemist and see what they have. I can't remember the name of what i use but they are in a greeny box and are dissolvable tablets in a tube, they always cleared me up in a day.

If you are pregnant you should contact your midwife as that is part of pregnancy related anyhow and she can treat it for u. I got them all hte way through when Iwas pregnant with my daughter and didn't have to go to the Dr once as midwife sorted in - prescribed antibiotics etc.....
Luckliy none so far in this pregnancy. Drink lots of water - cranberry and soda water with a VItc tablet is best as that what the specialist told me to take. but as isaid contact midwife

Parsley tea (tons of fresh parsley boiled in water, then disgard the parsley and drink the water) helps a lot too... it's only a good remedy for those not up the duff - can't have it if you are.

I take it you haven't got any 24/7 clinics nearby?

Yep there's the doctors in victoria ave, they are open thru the weekends and are wonderful. With the cranberry juice i never drunk it straight, always with half half lemonade to water it down a little cos it can be pretty potent, not to mention not alot of people actually like the taste sometimes.
