This is the first time ever that Daniel has had a vomitting bug so I'm not really sure about it..

He doesn't have the other end going thank god. He has a temp but its 38 so not massively high..

Question is how long do they usually throw up for? He apparently started sat night (he was staying the night at the in laws).

Do I need to take him to the docs? Hes not dehydrated, I can get a fair amount of water to stay down, just not food. I don't wanna take him down there and get him upset if all they do is say keep fluids up.

Oh no, poor Daniel!
With my 2 I've always found the vomiting and fever to last about 3 days and then the other end will sometimes start.
If he's taking water and isn't deteriorating in any other way I'd be inclined to ride it out for up to a week.
When he starts showing an interest in food again, start him out on really bland stuff - apple without skin, dry or marmite toast, just to let his system get used to food again and then work up to regular stuff.
Hope he's better soon and hope you avoid it too!

I'm doing my best to avoid it. Instant hand sanitiser has become a necessity for me cause I sure as hell don't want it on top of morning sickness.

I'm replacing his meals with a bottle of milk but its only about 120ml cause any more than that comes up.

I hope the other end stays away!

I hope my monsters don't get it.

With them it has always had the other end going too. Lots of water and what ever liquid they want.

Really keep the fluids going. My son had a bad bug last year. 5 days of vomiting. He would seem to get better most of the day and then would randomly throw up. He got really dehydrated which caused him to get very low in potassium causing heart palps. That is when I took him to a & e and they told me off for not getting him there sooner. It is a hard one as you don't want to seem over protective over every little thing. If it hasn't cleared up by tomorrow I would take him to the dr.
