Anyone know how long it takes to receive something sent via airmail from the UK?
It was sent on the 7th April and according to the Royal mail website Airmail takes 2-5 days or something. I've contacted the store I bought my Manduca off but I doubt they'll be able to help me too much. I've been out the last few days when the postie would have been by but would assume it'd fit in the letterbox (I'm on rural delivery)

It was well before the grounding of the planes that it was sent. Postie has just been and it's still not here
I hope it arrives before the end of the week, I'm going away and it'll be tricky taking the pram with me.
Thanks for the help lilfatty

It was always so unpredictable sending stuff from the UK, sometimes it took a week, sometimes about 4 weeks!
Their postal system is not the most reliable......hope it turns up soon!

Mrs H if the parcel can't fit in your mailbox, the postie sees or thinks there is a dog on the property, no one is home to sign or the gate is closed the RD postie will leave a card in your mail box that you have to take to the post office or the NZ post place (it will say where to go on the card) and you pick the parcel up from there.

Also Royal Mail is notorious for things being delayed. One that comes to mind with us - we received a parcel for Callum last April (towards the end of the month) that was postmarked 24 JANUARY. Awesome. Lucky the outfit my friend sent was too big when she sent it
That said, we order things from Book Depository in the UK and they arrive within the week usually. So it really is the luck of the draw

I hate royal mail, we had so many problems with them, especially around Christmas. The gifts my inlaws sent us in November never got to us and arrived back in NZ in April!
