Hi everyone

Before I got pregnant, I never dreamt. Well I probably did but I never ever remembered them. Since getting pregnant I have vivid dreams every single night and can recite them to DH in the morning. They are always baby related and can be really bizarre. Last night, I was in the hospital supposed to be in labour but I wasn't having any contractions and I only looked about 5 months pregnant. I was trying to tell the staff that I wasn't actually in labour but they wouldn't listen and gave me an epidural anyway. I asked what the date was and it was 2 weeks before my due date and I was trying to tell them. And then a friend of mine who is living in Australia at the moment was in the same room as me and was actually in labour and I was jealous of her pjs. strange huh. Does anyone else experience this?

I have had very strange dreams since being preg - apparently it is common for you to dream more or remember more, what ever the case may be, because you mind is workin overtime with all the chnages going on...

I had some wicked nightmares too, but thank goodness they have stopped now!

I have definatly been having much more vivid dreams since being pregnant. Only a few that I remembered have been pregnancy/ baby related, but they are all totally muddled and weird as!!

I had some VERY vivid dreams when I was pregnant, and a couple of nightmares too. All related to hormones again I think, and "normal" apparently. I struggled to remember most of what I dreamed though, because my dreams would jump all over the place. I'm still having some odd ones now too, I guess since my subconscious has a whole lot of new feelings and things to process now !

Yeah I'm having really vivid dreams - most of them are pretty entertaining and kinda like watching myself on TV - I'm in them, but also watching myself in them and care about what happens but somehow know it doesn't really matter because I'll wake up soon.  Strange, eh!  A few vivid and disturbing nightmares in the earlier days - now they weren't entertaining at all!

I've heard an interesting theory about why we remember the pregnancy dreams - its because we've usually just woken up either in the middle of the dream or right after so the sequence is still fresh in our minds.

LOL Andie and Katie!
Vivid dreams, yep they're all normal from what I've heard! I've had very weird dreams and yep, can recite up to 4 of them in the morning

But, they are fading off about now so hopefully not much longer for you Leish! They always make me feel like "did I actually SLEEP last night?"

I got the worst nightmares from the beginning of the pregnancy until around the 25 week mark and sometimes I was scared to sleep. Then I had weird weird dreams and now I still do. Like this baby comes out looking like my ex boyfriend from about 3 years back. Oooh boy! I haven't dreampt I've been in labour YET- but when I do, I think I'll sh*t myself.

I had a dream last night about my friends twins who are 7 weeks old at the moment and I dreamt that they were really tall and were running around and I was thinking how is that possible at 7 weeks? In the same dream I had had my baby but he wasn't in the picture and I went and did a pregnancy test and it was positive and this was 3 months after having my baby - I hope this is not going to come true!!!
