Dont leave them out upside down if you have a robocan or something like that...........

My Wii fitness game is no longer working due to being left out........i had completely forgotten that a DVD was ruined a while back when it was left out. And it has the same affect on WII or any type of disc read by a lazer
You can see a very obvious spray residue on the discs. Ive tried meths to get it off but its not working.

I am taking to the shops to get one of those machines to hopefully fix the problem........at $5 per disc, but thats much better than the replacment cost that a WII EA sports costs. Lets hope it works

And i was all geared up for a work out

Those robocans are bad news......I know of someone who's pet bird died because of a robocan. They did an autopsy on the bird apparently.

They must have some pretty nasty chemicals in them.............unfortunately it's the only thing that keeps the flies away!

Bummer... Luckily I don't ever buy robocans, the flies aren't too bad at ours.

Hope you get it working though, I love my wii!!

Yeah Robocans are pretty harsh.
I bought one thinking they were a healthy alternative to regular flysprays.
Then DH did some research this past summer and found out that pyrethrins are not as safe as advertising makes it sound. (possibly still safer than regular chemical flyspray though!)
My DH is a huge skeptic when it comes to all those scare tactic emails about glad wrap and car upholstery and lipstick giving us cancer but he was pretty concerned by what he read, which was enough to make me concerned. Ours has been off ever since!

Really ? that's so sad.

I've got two birds and we've had a Robocan for most of their time with us, and thankfully nothing has ever happened to them

You can buy plants that give off pyrethrum without doing any harm or there are sticky fly trap things you can get from mitre 10 - a friend has them and they work brilliantly. I make our own flypaper.
We have a robocan but its switched off too.

I was going to take it to our local video shop who do cleaning, hopefully it will work.

YAY it worked, cost me $5 and it took a layer off that had the residue............so at least there is a low cost way of fixing it. Well still wouldnt want to have to get them done lots so lesson learned

Cant even blame the kids for this one
