I hereby call to order the society of the Secret Eaters Anonymous

Hi I'm Lisa and I'm total food crazed maniac! Today there was $20 left over from groceries so I brought myself a Big Mac on the way home just because the cash was there. I was also super naughty and brought ice cream at the supermarket plus a bottle a chocolate sauce that I plan on hiding in the cupboard so DH doesn't see it. It's not that he is against chocolate sauce it's just I tend to devour it at a rate that would really turn him off lol.

I'm such a shocker. I have PCOS which can cause weight gain so I should know better but I just can't help myself. If there is anything in this house that has sugar in it I will devour it in seconds and if we have nothing with sugar I will bake!

Anyone else out there wanna join my super awesome club?Go on tell us your dark and dirty food secrets

Oh darn I forgot to get chocolate sauce at the supermarket today!! .

But I did get a bag of Doritos cause they were on special and I want to know what all the fuss is about.

If we have anything choc in the house then I have to eat some of it every day, I am not a nice person if I don't get my daily dose of chocolate.

See I can never make anything chocolate last more than a day in my house. If I buy a pack of timtams I think maybe I'll just have one then before I know it the packs gone and I have a sore tummy.

I wonder if a hypnotist could put me off chocolate and transfats lol. That would certainly make life easier

My food indulgences aren't secret at all. DH is a chocolate addict too which only serves to encourage the habit. Being a chocoholic isn't socially unacceptable as smoking or excess drinking - its almost encouraged.

I thought about that when I went to see a hypnotherapist - but couldn't bring myself to sacrifice my one addiction.

Puts hand up

I'm going to have a lie down because I've devoured 3/4 of a (small) loaf of fancy bread with cheese and garlic on top and now I feel sick.

That's what being slightly bored and stuck home with a sick child do to you. Should have got off my behind and cleaned the house instead.

*sticks hands up*
Just devoured 2 treatsized cheezels...only stopped there cos thats all there was lol
I love maccas, have it once a week, but wouldn't admit that to people
We eat alot of chocolate - probably a couple of king size a week....each
Not really bikkies, but chips so I try no to buy them and sugar. Have been much better over the last few weeks, not sure why, but we do eat healthily, and I *hide* my junk addiction becasue it embarrasses me, I, too have PCOS and am fat, but I know its an input/output fatness, lol and the pcos dosne't help...

actually I know why I haven't been as bad... I have been gettign money out for the groceries for the week and once its gone thts it... that stops any extra trips to maccas or extra junk going in the trolley. With the card, I just spend and its not like "real" money.
Oh and I drink a small bottle of coke zero every day either the 400 or 600ml.

I just have to remember to do the dishes as well! If there is any left over DP eats it as well. Yesterday I made piklets (YUM!) and ate about 1/3 and thought we could have the rest for dessert, but DP came home and ate them ALL so much for saving some for later.

I have been known to buy myself a block of Green & Blacks at the supermarket and eat the entire thing in one sitting simply because I can then dispose of the evidence so DH will be none the wiser to how much of a pig I made of myself.

I had been on a burger ban after New Years - but after getting pregnant and a number of takeaway options not on the menu - I'm addicted to BK rodeo and bbq bacon burgers - nom nom

Well when you bake you've got to taste test to make sure what ever you've made has turned out ok.  Its to make up for the cake batter spoon I can no longer lick.

I seriously can not have any chocolate in the house!

We brought some chocolate for mothers day (dammn shopping day being on a monday and having to wait a whole week for the weekend!).... Gone!

It really doesn't help either that there is a 4 squre right across the road... there is nothing stoping me at all!

I even tried not taking my wallet, just the cash i needed when popping over to get bread.. that failed when Maddi snuck and ate an easter egg and i then had no money left for bread

haha oh yeah I'm here!

I am a grazer too! Before I realised it I had eaten a whole pack of squiggles whoops! Multiple trips to the pantry.

I am such a chip and dip girl! It's disgusting lol but so is mum I blame her! I am overweight but have no excuse except I do no exercise and eat far too much I'll be honest here!

DP is just as bad as I am if not worse when it comes to ice cream and chocolate I often don't tell him that we have any lol. I bake a couple times a week because I'm trying to practice DD's birthday cake and he bugs me until I ice it to eat it.

To be fair if we buy a king sized bar of chocolate he is the one that devours it in one sitting

LMAO Ashleigh!!! I keep finding myself short on choc drops when I do DP's fave bikkies cos he keeps going and dipping his hand in the packet!!!

Speaking of secret stahses... I saw bars of Baileys, Kahlua and Mailbu flavoured choc (seperate, not all in one bar!) on special for $2 each so I bought one of each, plus an extra Baileys one for my mum cos she likes Baileys lol!! I had to cos they were on special! I also have a king sized bar of Whittakers macadamia choc in one of the drawers in the kitchen... the one that has cookbooks in, that way DP will never know its there!

Whats worse is I am supposed to be losing weight seeing as we are TTC... pretttty sure choc stashes arent going to help!

while i was in town walking around yesterday i noticed a man walking around with a big sign saying "macdonalds cheeseburgers $1 each"  , now i had no intention that day of buying any takeaways but the second i saw that sign i just could not get the craving of cheeseburgers out of my head .... so i bought 2!!!!

..... mmmm and lately on grocery day iv been treating myself to a packet of original ricecrackers, a brie or camembert cheese and about $3 of green stuffed olives from the deli then i go home and very neatly spread my cheese and cut up my olives and place them on my crackers and more often than not i demolish the lot in the same night  nom nom nom

Hahah it's so funny to hear how many others hide wrappers from their partners as well lol! I thought I was the only one!

I find I'll eat most of something then force the rest in just because I need to dispose of the wrapper. For some reason I get it in my head that if DH comes home and sees I've eaten an entire pack of timtams minus say one or two that he'll get his disgusted face on so I force down those last couple to avoid being caught lol!

Right now I've got the guilts because I ate half the bottle of chocolate sauce today with a spoon then hid it behind some flour in the pantry. A couple of times while making dinner I saw DH go into the pantry and my heart would stop lol. Geez when I say it out loud it sounds even more pathetic hahaha.

Well, I managed a whole family-sized pizza once. I'm rather proud of that achievement (To be fair, I didn't realise it, but I my thyroid was galloping away at the time sending my metabolism into overdrive - I was eating that much and hungry half an hour later).

Chocolate chips don't last long in this house either! Oddly, I can ignore a block of chocolate for weeks, but a few chocolate chips here and there and we get through a pack pretty fast!

The only way I can get chocolate to last and not have DH devour it is to buy one with nuts in it (he hates them) but then he makes me feel guilty cause there's none to share with him.

Buy them firm and let them ripen Daizy. - I make guacamole with avocados, sour cream, fresh tomato, and tabasco sauce, salt and pepper - mash it all together and yummo with corn chips

Omigosh Lis!! This is so me in a nutshell aswell... the other day I bought a block of kingsize chocolate and hid it in the side pocket of my handbag and forgot and then DF went to grab something out of my bag and I nearly did a flying leap yelling "don't worry I will get it for you" just in case!!!! I am a total shocker!! We went supermarket shopping today and I was sneaking things into the trolley and telling Lexie that daddy was mean coz he wouldn't let mummy get a chocolate bavarian dessert lol how bad is that!!

So yes my name is Rebecca and I am a secret eater!!

Now that I'm working I can hide my snacking from DP there! Its the one good thing about being back at work.
Take today, I went to the supermarket at lunch time and got some little packets of chippies, two packets of crackers, some cashews, some almonds and Le Snacks all are sitting in my bottom drawer at work just waiting for the snack attacks to hit. The bad thing is that as I was at the checkout I found myself looking longingly down the aisle at the packets of chippies I had left behind...........
Making sure that on the way to the car the receipt was disposed of in the rubbish bin so DP wouldn't see it

Who was it that mentioned coke? OMGosh I have SUCH a problem with the coke from the machines at mcdonalds, bk etc. Normal coke doesn't do it for me- but this stuff!! YUM!!!

I'm so tempted right now to go get a sausage and egg mcmuffin. I have such a problem with mcdonalds. MUST resist.... (cos if I resist, I could wait until 10 and get a cheeseburger for morning tea! yum!)

"Hi I'm minik8e and I'm a secret eater"

I was going to post last night, but DH was in the chair next to me My downfall is chocolate bars. In particular, Moros or dark chocolate KitKats. I was stashing the wrappers, but DH found my stash...thankfully all he said was, don't you think you should empty it out? There wasn't THAT many in there!!

Also guilty of buying Maccas for lunch (chicken caesar wrap mmmmmmmmmmm) and charfing it down before I get home if DH is home so I can put it in the rubbish bin outside before I come in the house LOL

Oh and I purposely buy too many bananas so theres some leftover that NEED to be used in some form of baking... that way noone can say anything about the cakes or muffins lol!

I usually eat it in the car and dispose of the rubbish outside.

Mmm coconut ice, mmm chips.

One of my favourite things to do is toast pita bread butter it when its not too hot so the butter melts then put garlic in it mmmmmmm

DS's school was having a bake sale.... but they've changed the rules and it sucks cos I wasnt able to get the yummy looking choc cake I was eyeing up on the table! They had some crud looking cakes on the front tables for the parents to buy, then all the yummy stuff was cut into pieces for the kids to buy... seriously, 6 trestle tables choc full of cake slices, muffins bikkies etc... for one local primary school... promoting healthy eating much!? None of the parents were allowed to buy the stuff that had been cut... grrr...!! Might have to make some of my cookie dough to replace what I was SO looking forward to!

When I was pregnant with C my weakness was mudcake
I ate a big one , plus 4 smaller ones all by myself in just under an hour and forty minutes .
I didn't like it after that .

And with Ty my weakness was toast with peanut butter and nutella ....
