DS currently has 4 x 240ml bottles a day. He generally finishes (at least 200ml) 3 1/2 of them. He's random as to which one doesn't get finished.

As I understand it now he's getting past the 9mth mark he should be going down to 3 bottles. But which one should I drop?

His day goes (approx)
7am bottle, then toast
11:30 am lunch then bottle
4pm bottle
5pm dinner
6:30pm bottle before bed

I would drop the 4pm one, then you'll prob get him eating a good dinner before bed. If hungry then offer water and some fruit/biscuit etc

DD is 9 months and has 2x200 and 1x250. She may leave bout 50ml in total, so approx 600mls per day.

When she was about 8 months she was having a bottle at 7, 11, 2 and 6. She was getting fussy at the 2pm bottle and after 3 days of this I stopped making it and he bottles were all spead out a bit more...so 8, 12, 6.

At the same time I gave her solids for breakfast before the bottle, that way her bottle was pushed to 8ish, instead of 7.

The 4pm and 630pm bottle seem really close together, so the 4pm would make sence, but he might get a little stroppy if you simply stopped it.

The 4pm bottle is sometimes 3pm.
It's just that it's after his afternoon nap. At home that's 3pm. At daycare he tends to stay up longer and it's 4pm.
His bedtime used to be 7pm, so the bottles were spread more. But he goes to bed better 1/2 hr early.

He eats a good lunch and dinner. He likes eating

I'd drop the 4pm one and give him afternoon tea to hold out til dinner time. Morgans day is roughly like this:

BF
Breakfast
Morning Tea
Nap
Lunch
BF (or bottle if I'm working that day)
Nap
Afternoon Tea
Dinner
Bottle

If she wakes late then no afternoon tea or just a piece of fruit while I make her dinner.

just because "they" say you should drop a bottle doesnt mean you should.

Cory still has x4 bottles of 150mls a day, plus 3 solids and just starting to have 1 snack...at 11mths he doesnt want to drop a bottle and im not going to force him

Ava's just gone down to 3 bottles, she was going 7, 11, 3 and 7, and now goes 9, 2 and 7. You will find it you start giving breakfast before the bottle (like they say to at 8-9 months) the bottles will begin decreasing until one of them is dropped and the others even out.

I'm going to say the 4pm one aswell.
I've just looked it up and Ryan was having 200mls at 7am, 2.30, and 6pm. With lunch at 12.00 and tea at 5pm and snacks at 1030 and 3pm. He drunk loads of water, still does.
