My question is i don't know wether i'm preg or not, now this would be my third so you would think I should know. I was due for af on the 21 july it didn't come so I took a test as I'm always reg, it came up with a faint pos, the following tues I got some brown stuff then bleeding on the wed, thurs, fri, then back to brown on sat. It wasn't like a normal af for me it was quite light but more than spotting. I've since done another test and it's come up pos but not as quick or as dark as i would've thought, do u think this could be an early miscarriage or i could be preg? Thanks for listening

Probably pregnant, ring your dr and ask to see them asap to get some tests done.

Yeah, I agree it sounds like you're definitely preggy.
Get yourself to the docs to make sure everything is ok. Good luck hun!

Hi Mitch,
Sounds like you could be pregnant but perhaps you should get it confirmed by your doctor. Hope it works out the way you want it to.

yes i agree also. There is no such thing as a false positive only a false negative. (apparently). The bleeding could be just implantation bleeding. I would go to doctor to get checked out. Good luck.

Sounds like preggy and implantation bleeding. Best to get a blood test done to confirm.

Hi Mitch,
I think if it was early miscarriage (I've had one) it would be dark red instead of brown, but then some miscarriages don't bleed either... but I agree with the others, it does sound like you are pregnant. So we're looking forward to finding out!

PS If you have just miscarried the test will still show positive because the hormones wouldn't have settled down yet... or so I've been told.

I had such a faint positive that I took it as I wasn't pregnant then the next month had a brown bleed for one day so still thought I wasn't pregnant...but I was.

Thanks for your thoughts. Busymum I did have bleeding for the three days which came after the brown stuff which is why i am thinking it's an early mc, but then i do have slightly tender boobs, so i don't know. I think I will wait to my next peiods due and see what happens. I did bleed with my other two children but it was at the 11 12 week mark.

Hi Mitch,

I also had the brown stuff when pregnant, unfortunately I did M/C but when i told the specialist & midwife they said it was ok and to monitor it - so possibly not related to me M/C.

All i can say is take it easy and maybe do another test in a week or so.
