Hiya

It's time to buy some new cloth nappies and I'm leaning towards increasing my SOI itti bitti stash.

Does anyone find that it works well to have extra inserts and reuse the cover or do the covers always tend to get too wet?

How must extra absorbancy does the snap in booster provide?

Has anyone seen any on special atm?

Thanks
Deb

I have both types of Ittis - and prefer the AIO's as it feels softer to sit on IYKWIM! The SIO feel like sitting on a book (not that I have tried!!)

Any way - i do have an extra set of inserts but i find that the outer is a bit smelly just from being next to the wee - its not always wet tho, so I have had next to no use out of the extra set.

I love my snap ins and yes I have extra inners.
The outers do get wet so this is what I do. I have enough covers for two days but the inserts I have enough for 3 days. I wash the whole nappy then the outers take a few hours to dry the inserts(snaps) take two day so I use the extra inserts(snaps) while the others dry. Saved us money and works really well.

I have twice the number of inserts as outers. When there is no poo on the outer I just change inserts. Seems to work for me. Also as first said the outers dry heaps quicker than the inners so it saves time having extra inners.

I have half aio & half sio as I like each for different reasons.

I have double the inserts for outers as well. Basically means that I just need to grab the outers that dry super fast & then I just grab the dry inserts from the cupboard. My outers end up stinky with my boy now but I could air them when he was little.

I air the outers if they havent got wet or dirty and seems to work fine. Ive also got double the inners vs covers and prefer the SIOs.

I only just discovered what the little red snaps are for!! Might try the boosters, what do people think of them?

Boosters are great. The bamboo are the same as the normal inserts, microfibre are quick soak ones. I usually combine two boosters if I want longer wear.
