I have a huge pile of my clothes that I need to sell. It's all stuff that I don't fit anymore but have been hanging on to.

Ideally I'd love to do a car boot sale or something similar, but not sure if there is anywhere regular you can do that.

Everything is in awesome condition and I never seem to get good prices on TradeMe. And knowing some of the sh*te I get from TM, I can understand why. I think if people were able to see the condition of the stuff, they would appreciate it more.

The other idea I had was if a whole bunch of us in Wellington would be interested in coming together and having a big garage sale. I don't have enough to have one on my own, but if we all got together somewhere.... ???

Lower Hutt River Bank Car Park, we had a car boot sale there bout 5 years ago. It's a market now but I always see lots of people selling stuff out their boot!

I could be keen if my Gma is willing to let me sell the clothes she doesn't wear... They're like 50's, 60's, 70's stuff but really good condition as only worn a few times!!

There is a market every Saturday morning in Lower Hutt, but I'm not sure how much it is to have a stall there.

I think it's about $10, same one I am talking about, but also I think they charge on where you are placed and there are a lot of 'regulars' there too...

Im pretty sure lower hutt markets are way more than $10 now. Its more like $30-$5 because its so busy.

Look out for schools etc, i know there have been 2 schools in the last few weeks that have had carboot sales, $10 a car.

But your best bet is the Lower Hutt markets.
