I am SO gutted I missed out on a half marathon ticket 
I was meant to be entered in a work team but they didnt enter me in, and didnt let me know and now they have sold out!! hm - there's an Onehunga half in Sept. I'm doing the 10km - do it every year! dh does the half or the 10 with pram.
http://www.endurancesport.co.nz/onehungahalf/ fun and mostly flat event. Mostly off roads too and about 200 competitors so nice and friendly. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

yep the Rotorua one rocks. We have been down every year to it but i've missed the last few due to pregnancies/new borns. I know some awesome places out by the lake to stay - log cabin on 10 acres last year!
