So DP and DS1 arrived home with my early bday prez today - a gorgeous little red slider turtle 
He was sposed to be hiding out at a friends til closer to the day (I didn't know about him) but DS1 took one look and started yelling 'tooodle tooodle' LOL poor DP he'd been working so hard at keeping the whole thing a secret and he didn't realise that DS1 knew bout 'tooodles'! Anyway since there was no point in hiding him away they brought him home. Now I need a name  I like Sid which makes DP kinda gag and while I'm not giving up on that name as yet I agreed to ask the very clever OB girls to make suggestions so.....-------------

Dp and his ex had turtles, and one of them was called Daz... They named him after Dps league idol lol

I always wanted a turtle called Smedly , and you can nickname it Smeggy ,or Smeggy weggy weggy , Smedly smoo , Smed Smed , Smed-unit , Smeds , Smedsmeister ....you get the picture

Yertle is a boy, king of the pond.
He wasn't very nice though, he made all the other turtles stack up so he could be the highest in the land. Google is amazing. I agree with Toodle since thats how your wee boy says it... my sister got a cat (sorry heidi!!) and she arrived in a speckled egg box... she couldnt pronounce Speckle properly (torty and white) it came out Smeckle... and thats what her name ended up being

HeidisMum has already suggested my suggestion!I like Scooter (or you could funk it up and make it Skoota). I have a friend who owns a tooodle named Scooter
Or Squirtle. That's what I call Isla sometimes cause she pulls a face that looks like a turtle so she becaume Squirtle the Turtle lol. Squirtle was a character form Pokemon I think, otherwise there is always Squirt.... he was the gorgeous baby turtle on Finding Nemo! One of my fav pet names is Maverick. That's what I wanted to name my dog but lost to DF's suggestion of Benson. -------------

Haha I googled turtle names and it gave me an exotic pet website that has a long list of names for tutles I thought they would be all witty and turtle related but they're mostly just totally random!
