Hey,
I have a hideous mummy tummy, and the skin is all saggy and wrinkly around the puku button - gross. But is anyone else like this and does it ever go away or can you reduce the amount of saggy/wrinkles?
Thanks.

Mine is like that, complete with muffin roll and bright red stretch marks!! It wasnt like that after #1, but I guess the toll of having 2 big babies is showing. But Im much more comfortable with my body now, nowhere near fully comfortable, but more than I have been,... I try to think of it as my mummy badge!

I've got that saggy wrinkly look too - stupid stretchmarks in fact the smaller it gets the more wrinkly it gets.
My mum bought this light thing from trade me that is meant to help with all sorts of things including stretch marks. I actually noticed really quickly the colour fading (like a few days) but it says 6-12 months for a noticeable difference. I keep forgetting to use it though which is a bit dumb. If I start to notice things improve wrinkly-wise I'll let you know.
Strangely I'm less worried about it than I thought I would be, though I definitely wouldn't lift my top and show anyone!!

I do. The redness has gone away, but as my stomach has shrunk the worse it looks. I keep getting infections in my belly button because of the "fold" of skin.
I've been working out for 7 months.. at 57kgs and still have this damned inch thick saggy skin If I lift my skin up you can see abs

My Mummy tummy is OK when I'm standing up but as soon as I bend over or sit down I get all the big fat rolls. Mine is more obvious cause I had C-Sec so around the scar area is all tight then the excess skin kinda sags over that. Covered in stretchmarks too but they are slowly disappearing thanks to Dr Lewinns Bio Care Oil (WAY better than the usual Bio Oil). I think it's just a given that your skin is guna get stretched to buggery but it's well worth it, I'm with Smelly_Kelly. Just shows what an amazing job your body has done. It does go away in time. My sister had 2 kids and got a really saggy tummy after having them. it's taken a few years but she is now a size 6 and has the most awesome abs. So there is hope for us yet! lol

One can only hope and dream. very generalised.......i got to a size 9 and still had my Csection over hang, albiet smaller but still definetly there........
If you think about all those people on biggest loser, some are lucky enough to lose all that weight and their skin goes back and some are stuck with very saggy left over skin that only surgery will ever get rid of........same thing applies to mummy tummies......if your lucky it might go, if your not no amount of sit ups or exercise or dieting or creams etc will make it go away.......Im one of those BUT in saying that, i would trade my tummy tuck planned for my 40th bday for another baby.

When I sit I have rolls, I am back to pre preg but instead of a nice hard tummy like before it's all soft and squishy which is ok, I don't really mind, it's just different! Plus there are a few stretch marks and my belly button looks MASSIVE! DP calls it the Grand Canyon! lol

*raises hand*
I have lose skin on my tummy too .. and the part where I had my c section isnt as flat as id like it to be, but I will be up on stage in a teeny weeny bikini in 12 more sleeps ... so I guess I don't let it stop me.
Oh and Strivectin (sp) is what ive been using on my stretch marks and I think its doing a great job of fading them and tightening the skin around the area.
