Hi ladies,
I'm 27 weeks and bubs is tranverse, has anyone else experienced extreme discomfort with this? Bub's head is on the right side which is where most of the pain/discomfort is. It gets so bad I can hardly move.
I know there is heaps of time for him to move but he seems pretty wedged in there!

I haven't experienced a transverse breech, but my first baby was a kneeling breech and had his leg and foot wedged under my pelvis! I had a lot of pain from his knees where they weren't supposed to be and was glad to get him out in the end! He wouldn't budge and I had an elective c-section at 39+5 weeks. Hope your baby turns for you!

Yep this bub was transverse for quite a while and it didn't *quite* get painful, but certainly was uncomfortable. I was worried that he wasn't going to turn at all too, even though loads of people told me that I had heaps of time. I think it's natural to worry.
Bub then turned breech, however then flipped by himself and is now head down and engaged, yay!
I used some techniques from the http://www.spinningbabies.com/ - Spinning Babies website. I'm not sure whether these were what made him turn or whether he would have turned by himself. It felt good to be 'doing something' though

My friends bub just turned at 31 weeks from transverse and yup she was in some quite bad pain at times. Babies are not designed to lay that way so it really does put pressure on your body.
FX bubby moves soon! Maybe try some yoga to help stretch out your abdomen and take a bit of pressure off or swimning might give you some relief too....
