hi
Michael, jake and i are taveling tomorrow to timaru (this is jakes first stay away from home) we will be staying over night at michaels mums (only for one night) and was wondering if i have missed anything on my packing list of jakes.
* Nappys
* Change mat
* 3 Suits
* 3 tops
* 1 wollen jacket
* 1 wollen booties
* Baby wipes
* 2 Hats
* 2 socks
* And some breast pads
* His bassinet
If you think i have forgotton something please let me know. Thanks

Sounds good!
Don't drink espresso coffee to keep yourself awake. I made the mistake of doing that the first night away from home that I had and Hannah screeched for about 2 hours!

Maybe some more socks as these things come off so easily and get lost.

I was just about to say that even though I'm a classic over-packer, I'd throw in another suit or two ! Just in case...

oooooo I know... some cloth nappies if you have them. They are lifesavers for all sorts of things!
I remember when I took Han on the plane for the first time (packed like I was going to Siberia for a month or three) I ended up donating one of my clothies to a poor man who was covered in vomit. Bet they wish they'd been girl guides!

Make sure you take lots of changes of clothing for yourself - so much fun having to wear clothes covered in baby puke
