Hi everyone... I can't believe I haven't been able to get onto OHbaby for so long and let you know all about our bundle of joy!!
On Monday 26th June we became the proudest parents of a Beautiful Baby GIRL. Layla-Mei arrived into the world weighing 9lbs 6oz!!! Contractions started on Sunday morning.. only to stop by lunch time (grrr) then on Monday I woke early to very strong contractions. Went into Middlemore at 11am to get an epidural... It didn't work!! So I had to deal with the pain and suck on the gas which totally pee'd me off in the end I just chucked it away and pushed with all my strength cos I had to get the kid out of me! haha As a few of you know, we didn't find out what gender our baby was and were expecting a baby boy, only to be told "Its a Girl". :) We are so happy and proud of our gorgeous girl, she is our everything. Its so nice to know you all love her name! It took us a few days to come up with her name considering we went into the hospital with boys names prepared, haha. Motherhood is once again treating me well. I love spending my every moment with my kiddies and bonding with baby Layla during the day while Maddisyn is at school.
