We have a baby due in November and I am keen on using the Babycheeks washable nappies.

Has anyone else used them and have an opinion on this particular brand.

Hey there, we use babycheeks and I love them! I initially didn't realize the legs had elastic in them that you could change the length on, but once I figured that out they quickly became my fav nappies. I haven't ever had a leak out of them, you just have to make sure you adjust the leg elastic from time to time as your baby grows to get the best fit out of them. Very easy to use

i was involved in the trial of them and they are a great one size nappy. and a good price too, especially since you can get them at the baby factory.

I love them too. Natalie is 16 months old now and we used them right from when she was a newborn to now. We got a lot of ours in the farmers sales - you can get 50% off sometimes, its great. I wouldn't use anything else.

We use them here too, and love them. It took a little big of adjusting to get it right but we rarely have any leaks now. The only thing I've found is that we can't stuff it enough for nighttime.

I love them as well. I often wait until Farmer has 30% off nursery and then buy them as it means they are only $20.

I normally use 2 large inserts or 1 large and 2 small (I've got lots of small ones)

A little bit of advice - just get 1 or 2 at first, and see how they fit on your baby.

My baby, and others I've heard of, with skinny legs often have problems with leakage for some reason. So best to wait til after having baby before stocking up.

I agree with previos writer, only buy a couple to try, all babies are different. I had one Baby cheeks but didn't work for my girl at all. It didn't matter how I adjusted it or how many inserts I had, still leaked.

If you are after a OSFA pocket nappy have a look on trademe, there are lots of different cheaper brands there that work as well if not better. Cherub tree is one of them (great pocket nappy in my opinion).

A selection of a few different nappies work for me. I do prefer my prefolds and fitted (totsbots and snazzipants) nappies tho. Nap naps night nappies are great for night time when baby start to sleep thru the night.
Good luck with everything!

I'm with the last two posters, have had problems with leaks. In saying that I only have the one smallish (compared to other inserts for the other mcn's I have) insert that came with the nappy, so perhaps I need to purchase another insert separately. Definately worth a try as being OSFA does make it an economical option if it works for you.

I've been using them and really like them, prior to them we used prefolds and bummis wraps (still do when i run out of babycheeks if she has a mega wetting day!).  DD has skinny legs and i waited until 12weeks old to use the OSFA and she is on the smallest setting possible, but we have had no leaks thus far! The adjustments are great (especially the inside elastics) and they are super soft.  I think the pricing is not too bad really compared with others and should be pretty economical in the long run being a OSFA.  Haven't tried too many other brands though, so guess we were just lucky finding a good one to fit her size!

Love them. We are using them on our wee boy(10weeks) and our 23month old daughter and they are awesome. We had more leaks with disposables and none with the cloth naps
